About Nelcos
Nelcos is a Canadian based company with offices in Vancouver, Toronto and Seattle. They have the exclusive distribution rights to Hyundai’s line of architectural vinyl films called Bodaq in North America.
Bodaq is a stretchable and durable design solution for the refinishing of any surface including doors, walls, table tops, counters tops, ceilings and even curved surfaces. They key benefits of this product include:
· 30% savings versus traditional renovation efforts
· More durable, the finish is typically good for 7 to 10 years
· Huge choice of 450 patterns – many embossed
With these benefits and the tight renovation budgets many organizations have now given the inflationary pressures over the last few years, the interest in lower cost options to millwork are growing.
To grow, Nelcos needed assistance with an account based sales effort targeting multi-location restaurants.
The Challenge
With the growth in the business and the need to manage existing customers and continue with sales and marketing efforts to designers, contractors and resellers, the owners (Roman and Victor) needed help to grow their sales in addition to their own efforts and those of a small sales team. So, Roman and Victor turned to VA Partners to give them some assistance developing the larger multi-location restaurant market in a cash flow friendly manner in Canada and the US.
Our Solution
Utilizing VA Partners Part-Time Sales services, a sales strategy was developed and executed including:
• Following up on this targeted list pushing for pilot opportunities and closes
• Developing a sales plan and sales messaging
• Utilizing their Hubspot CRM to manage the sales process
• Proactively targeting new multi-location restaurants
The Results
After working with VA Partners for over a few years, VA Partners has assisted in closing a number new clients including one of Canada’s most recognized restaurant brands Cora’s. The list of qualified opportunities being worked on include RBI (owners of Tim Hortons), Starbucks, Dominos, Pizza Pizza, Cracker Barrel, Bojangles, Dairy Queen, Denny’s, Boston Pizza, MTY, Recipe, White Castle, Yum Brands amongst others. A number of these are moving to pilots.
