ViaTech was relaunched in the Hamilton and Halton areas and we (Venture Accelerator Partners) have been asked to participate. This is a real honour for us and we are excited at the opportunity to be a meaningful contributor.
For those not familiar with ViaTech, is an Ontario based network of professionals who work in the technology and life sciences space and are dedicated to helping all forms of technology companies grow and develop strategic direction. The local Hamilton/Halton ViaTech chapter has been re-started and is being led by great community contributors including RBC, Deloitte and Innovation Factory.

The June 6th session saw two very exciting and interesting technology companies present, including Quant Interpretations and Weever.
Quant Interpretations
Quant has developed and is now commercializing a revolutionary decision enhancement tool (application) for marketing decision makers. It automatically generates presentation ready intelligence reports at the click of a button and ready-to-use insights about a company’s customers (or prospects) such as demographics, purchasing habits and so forth. Quant’s solution saves time, helps their clients make better decisions and is very affordable compared to traditional data interpretation techniques. We are also happy to mention that Quant is a VA Partners client and we are helping them grow their sales.
Weever
Weever is a new service that turns almost any website into a “web app” for iPhone, BlackBerry6, Android and iPad instantly and affordably. They have developed a very unique tool that has the potential to change the way current websites are mobilized. Their solution has the potential to save companies time and money by making it much simpler and easier for companies to create website apps.
