How to Successfully Use Facebook Ads

WBWKY1FQ2I

We recently started experimenting with Facebook Ads and think that it is a great solution for promoting a service and getting noticed. We understand that setting up an ad can be an unnerving task, but it doesn’t need to be. We have created a step-by-step guide on how to successfully set-up and manage your Facebook ads.

What is the Purpose of the Ad?

Before you get started, consider what the purpose of your ad is. Facebook offers a number of suggestions including:

  • Boost your posts
  • Promote your page
  • Send people to your website
  • Increase conversions on your website
  • Get people to claim your offer
  • Get video views

We think it’s worthwhile to promote something that is going to convert visitors into leads. For example, downloading a white paper, signing up for a webinar or signing up for your monthly newsletter. Anything that allows you to capture the information of the visitors to your site.

Choose the objective for your campaign

Choose an Area to Target

If your business targets a certain geographical location it’s important to target the right area to get the most out of your money. Facebook Ads gives you the option to target specific countries, provinces or cities. This is useful to make sure that your ad is being seen by the right people.

Decide Which Age Range & Gender to Target

Facebook Ads also allows you to target a specific age range and gender, if applicable.

Define Your Audience

Detailed Targeting

You can also target individuals based on their interests, demographics and behaviours. Facebook allows you to choose 10 areas to target in order to ensure that your ad is reaching the right people.

Select a Time France & Daily Budget

You will be prompted to set a daily budget for the campaign. We suggest choosing a budget for the entire project and dividing it by the number of days your campaign will be running. If your budget is reached by the end of the day your ad will no longer appear. If your budget is not reached by the end of the day you will only be charged based on the number of clicks your ad receives for that day.

Set a Budget

Monitor Results and Make Revisions if Necessary

Your ads are never fully complete as there is always room for improvements. Monitor your clicks and impressions regularly and make changes where necessary.
