VA Partners is pleased and excited to announce our newest team member. Carolina Nieto started with us at the end of April 2010 and will be working with us for four months as part of her Honours Bachelor of Business Administration Co-Op program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Carolina brings with her a great drive, work ethic and eagerness to learn. She successfully owned and operated her own Student Works Painting franchise last summer and prior to that she held positions at the GAP and McDonalds. On campus she has volunteered as a residence floor representative to help promote events and build school spirit. Carolina and has a very comprehensive understanding of social media tools like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and is fluent in Spanish.
Carolina has an excellent track record of hard work and success including:
- Directly drove sales of $25,000 over the course of four months operating her own Student Works Painting franchise managing 8 employees and had pre-season sales of up to $8,000 per week
- Achieved a 60% conversion ratio of estimates to jobs won and a 4.5 / 5 customer satisfaction rating at Student Works Painting while servicing over 30 customers
- Received a Laurier entrance scholarship for having an average over 90%
Carolina will be working with VA Partners as a lead generation specialist and will be responsible for research and social media strategy development. Carolina is fluent in Spanish and should VA Partners have a short-term need to penetrate Spanish speaking markets, Carolina will be the go-to person.
