Part-Time BDR

One of the most popular of our sales offerings is our Part-time BDR. With BDR being short for Business Development Representative.  Many entrepreneurs are great at taking opportunities from the discovery call to close, but they don’t have time, or fall short of doing the work required before a discovery call. At VA Partners we like to do the unexciting things in sales, and we help our customers with higher value efforts like a discovery call.  Your Part-time BDR can help with the following tasks.

Research

The VA Partners  team will work with the client to create an Ideal Customer Profile and Buyer Persona for future targets.  We will then use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to create lists. These lists can be in the 20 to 30 range a month up to hundreds. It depends on the sales focus for the client. From there we can load into the CRM to start the outbound efforts.

Outbound Efforts

When starting out with a client, we create a sales cadence that drives the Part-time BDR’s outbound efforts, This cadence will incorporate email, cold calls, and often social media.  We will create a number of email templates, cold call scripts, a guide for handling objections, and LinkedIn messages.  The Part-time BDR will then execute with a consistent outbound effort.

Booking Discovery Calls

The main outcome for the Part-time BDR offering is a discovery call with a qualified target.  This will include a confirmed date, calendar invite, and notes to support the meeting.  The BDR may also attend the meeting to provide continuity.

CRM

The Part-time BDR will stay organized by using a CRM. This includes logging all calls, recording emails, and creating deals.  This also provides visibility and accountability for our clients.
